Love’s Travel Stops have the Thanksgiving spirit within them. This is in specific is a reference to the fact that Thanksgiving is for some a very lonely time. Especially for truck drivers. I mean, just think about it. You have to transport cargo all across the United States at the base of the heaviest time of year for consumers… And you don’t even get to see your family in the midst of the madness! That nust be said. Luckily, there are companies like Chester’s Chicken, who are teaming up with Love’s Travel Stops to host something truly terrific.

Love’s and Chester’s call it ‘Truckersgiving!’

Maybe not the most creative titling but it’s a work-in-progress. What’s the point? To thank truckers from all over the United States for choosing to do the job and do it right every day. When is this happening? Starting on Thursday, November 18th, a full week before Thanksgiving on the twenty-fifth, Love’s and Chester’s have a little surprise for Truckers. They are asking the drivers to pass by any of their locations to snag an event-exclusive trucker hat and a free side of Chester’s new macaroni and cheese. Additionally, truckers are allowed to stop by Chester’s if it’s near enough a Love’s and grab some food and apparel, while available.

Love’s has about five-hundred and sixty spots throughout forty-one states. Combo that with a hundred forty Chester’s and this week before Thanksgiving might even be busier than the week itself. Joe Cotton, the VP of restaurant services at Love’s, believes it the righteous. “We know drivers enjoy Chester’s Chicken, so this is a great way to say thank you to truck drivers during the holidays.” Besides the Mac and Cheese, there’s also mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and green beans. All a part of an ongoing rebranding for Chester’s.
