At the Great American Trucking Show, the Landstar Health and Wellness Pavilion connects truck drivers with health screenings free of charge. Also, you can find advice on how to get the most out of cooking on the truck about nutrition and fitness.
This year, the pavilion will also provide chiropractic care, mammogram screenings, DOT physicals and even more.
GATS is at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Fallas August 23-25. If you are interested an online application is available for you here.
Here are the booths and what they will offer:
• AccuScreen Drug and Alcohol Testing (Booth 252) — a Discounted price of $55 for the testing will be available at the AccuScreen booth.
• Methodist Dallas (Booth 452) — An online mammography will show floor offering screenings.
• OnRamp to Health (Booth 753) — OnRamp to Health will partner with Carter Blood car for its ninth annual blood drive.
• St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund (Booth 744) — This booth will host a meet and greet from radio personalities as well as live entertainment. A game will be available for attendees for a $5 donation. The booth will also serve as a drop-off location for Operation Dakota Smiles. Attendees can drop off shirts, hats, and pins. All the items will be headed to Dakota to a 16-year-old boy who is in a wheelchair but loves big trucks.
