Liam Neeson is a well-known actor. He’s been in plenty of films, from “Taken,” to “Schindler’s List.” He’s known for these action packed movies and playing serious-as-cancer roles. The thing is, you look at him and you wonder what hasn’t he done as far as a film role goes. And some examples of movies that he hasn’t starred in a role as include a clown, a waitress and a communist.
But now, we can finally take ice road trucker off that list. The thing about Liam Neeson is that he has the capacity to make any role pop up to life. Specifically, this one in which he plays a driver who’s depending on his skill to accomplish an impossible rescue mission to save the lives of miners trapped underneath a frozen ocean. Laurence Fishburne and Amber Midthunder also star. Here’s the trailer.
The movie doesn’t look half bad, eh? Almost makes you want to pick up ice road trucking yourself. This takes place across Alaskan and Canadian lines. This is a pretty good role for Liam Neeson as he would be a young forklift driver and trucker back in Ireland.
Liam Neeson has to face off against very malevolent entities. And this is interesting because some of those entities may as well be made of snow.
